ASP.NET is used to create dynamic interactive web sites. In this course students will: - create dynamic sites using ASP.NET with VB.NET.
- write code to collect information from a form and to process it,
- read and write records to a database.
- track user state, using session, and server variables
- create a secure web application.
- create server controls, validation controls and their own user controls.
Prerequisites
A background in both programming with Visual Basic and web design is helpful. Familiarity with HTML and CSS is also helpful. Requirements
Students will need a copy of Visual Studio or a copy of Visual Web Developer Express. Visual Web Developer Express is a free tool from Microsoft.
