The Introduction to Six Sigma course will give learners a flavor of some of the methodologies used in this popular quality tool. The learner will receive an overview of the Six Sigma movement itself and some DMAIC, Control and Causal methodologies.
In this course students will:
achieve a basic knowledge of the history of the Six Sigma movement and know the purpose of Six Sigma as measured by successful completion of Discussion, Practice, Assignment and Quiz.
achieve a basic knowledge of the DMAIC process as measured by successful completion of Discussion, Practice, Assignment and Quiz.
achieve a basic knowledge of the concept of"in control" and "out of Control" as measured by successful completion of Discussion, Practice, Assignment and Quiz.
achieve a basic knowledge of the root causes analysis as measured by successful completion of Discussion, Practice, Assignment and Quiz.
Prerequisites
Students should be familiar with browsing the internet, uploading files and using their operating system.
Requirements
No special software or equipment is required for this course.
