We had a great idea for a website and went shopping for web developers. We quickly discovered that if we wanted a top-notch web site at an affordable price we would need to do a lot of the work ourselves. While we could pay someone to build the initial site, keeping it up-to-date would be cheaper and easier if we did the work. Our web developer uses Dreamweaver and told us that even as novice web designers we would find it easy to learn to use.
He was right: Dreamweaver made updating our pages easy! Then we got brave and decided to see what else Dreamweaver could do. Basically, we wanted to learn to do what our web developer could do.
Anyone can Learn Dreamweaver Online!
Our team has an interesting dynamic - we tend to all talk at once and when one of us learns something new we share it with the others. We knew that our way of working would not be welcome in a traditional classroom environment. We also knew that since we spend our days seeing clients, we'd need to be able to learn when it was convenient for us. We found Lifetime to Learn and saw that we could learn Dreamweaver online.
Since we could not afford not to get our money's worth out of the class we did some research into the online Dreamweaver classes at Lifetime to Learn. The fact that their instructors go through training before they teach really impressed us. When we found that they design their online courses to support all learning styles, we knew we were onto something good. When we learned that we could work on a project that we designed instead of having to complete someone else's idea of a good project, we signed up!
In just a few short weeks we have learned the skills we need to build and maintain our web sites using Dreamweaver. And we had so much fun learning Dreamweaver online we will be signing up for more classes soon!
A copy of Dreamweaver is required.
