Learn how to work with Bitmap images, how to effectively use Vector drawing tools, how to create buttons, and how to optimize images for your web page. Students will need a copy of Fireworks. A 30-day trial is available.
In this course students will:
Use Fireworks' editing tools to edit bitmap images.
Create vector images using Fireworks' vector drawing tools.
Work with Fireworks' layer feature to create and manipulate artwork.
Use Fireworks' text editing tools to add text to their project. Students will use advanced editing techniques in Fireworks to create special effects.
Use Fireworks to create buttons to be used on web pages.
Use Fireworks to create interactive images to be used on web pages.
Export their images from Fireworks into a format that can be used on web pages.
Use Fireworks to create animated GIFs to be used on web pages.
Use Fireworks to create image masks and pop-up menus.
Use what they have learned in Fireworks to create a final project.
