This course will review the skills necessary to pass the Mathematics portion of the GED. Topics that will be covered include: Whole numbers and Operations, Decimal Numbers and Operations, Fraction and Operations, Statistics and Data, Percents, Probability, Algebra and Geometry.
In this course students will:
Take the Mathematic Pre-Test to identify where they will need more work.
Solve mathematical problems with whole numbers and math operations.
Work math problems which use decimal numbers and math operations.
Solve math problems which use fractions and math operations.
Solve math problems which use ratios and proportions.
Solve math problems which use percentage and probability.
Solve math problems which involve charts, tables and graphs.
Solve math problems which involve algebra and solving word problems.
Solve math problems which use units of measure, money and time.
Solve math problems which involve mathematic shapes and geometric formulas.
Take the Post Test to determine how well they have mastered the content.
Prerequisites
Students should be familiar with browsing the internet, uploading files and using their operating system.
Requirements
No special software or equipment is required for this course.
