I took programming classes in college and got a good overview of some other languages. Now that I am working, my company wants me to work on one of their applications in Java. I decided I needed to learn the fundamentals of Java programming so I could do my best job.
My company agreed to let me take a Java class and I decided learning online would be the best format for me. Lifetime to Learn accepted a purchase order from my company and got me started right away even though the course had started a few days before I registered. My instructor worked with me to get caught up with the rest of the class.
Learn Java Online Anytime!
I spent a few hours each day at my desk at work reading the course material and working the examples. For the assignments I created a simple version of the application I would be developing at work. My co-workers are pleased that I could use my class time to do "real" Java programming so that my time learning Java online was not wasted creating useless programs.
My co-workers are impressed that my instructor passed along tips for good Java programming practices. And I was able to share tips with my classmates from my own experiences and what I had learned from those I worked with about programming structure and design. I even got some good Java programming tips from them, things I don't think I would have heard about if I had not learned Java online at Lifetime to Learn.
Now that I have learned the fundamentals of Java programming I plan to see what other Java programming skills I will need and take more classes from Lifetime to Learn. After all I learned from the Java Introduction online course I am sure I will have no problems convincing management of the value of my taking more online courses from Lifetime to Learn.
To learn Java online you will need a Java Compiler.
