Students who are familiar with Java will create Java Web Services. The course will start with a short introduction to XML and then cover the XML technologies that support web services, include WSDL and SOAP. Students will write Java code to process the XML messages and create the WSDL and SOAP messages for the web service.
Prerequisites
Students should be comfortable programming in Java and familiar with JSP.
Requirements
Students will need a Java compiler and web server for developing the applications. There are free versions available for download.
