Microsoft Project for Beginners Online

Learn the basics of project management using Microsoft Project in this instructor-led online class.

During this course learn to build a project plan that includes tasks and resources. Learn to manage the project as tasks are completed and to see whether or not the project is on schedule and on cost. Use various reporting tools to print and view the project status. Students will need a copy of Project. A 30-day trial version is available.

In this course students will:

  • Learn to work in the Project environment and create a new project.
  • Define tasks and resources for their project.
  • Print their projects and track the progress of their tasks.
  • Fine-tune their task, resourc and assignment details as well as their overall project plan.
  • Sort, group and filter the views of their project.
  • Apply what they have learned to a final project.
